Summary of Event: (500 Character Count Max)

Judith Sheehan is Past President on ConnOTA and has worked closely with Joyce Rioux and the scope of practice committee to facilitate the scope of practice revision project which began in 2018. The original scope of practice outlining OT practice in the state was developed by a committed group of clinicians in the 1970’s.  Our practice has evolved significantly since that time.  The updated scope of practice draft has since been distributed for input from the board, the Connecticut academic programs and AOTA.  ConnOTA would now like feedback and suggestions from OT/OTA clinicians to further refine the proposed scope language.  Please join us to participate in this important discussion affecting all areas of practice in the State.
