Cultivating Creativity, Compassion, and Courage in Occupational Therapy Practice 

Objectives:

Participants will:

  1. Develop awareness of the concepts of creativity, courage, compassion, metaphor, and meaning making, and their value in occupational therapy practice.
  2. Be challenged to explore personal and cultural barriers to living brave as an occupational therapist including fear, shame, vulnerability, perfectionism, offloading emotions, and unwanted identities.
  3. Be able to identify four personal and professional courage-building skills to enhance the ability to live, lead, and love brave.
