How do I join ConnOTA?
To become a member, you may fill out our membership form online.
What do I get for my membership fees?
Members receive access to member only areas of the website, access to special interest sections, quarterly in-services which provide free Contact Hours, and most importantly, your fees support the board in our lobbying and legislative efforts that protect your CT OT practice. In essence, your fees may help protect your future employment.
How can I get involved?
We would love to have your input and involvement and there are many ways in which you can become more involved in the organization.
You can attend, present or host our quarterly in-services.
You can attend our board meetings each month.
You can serve as a special interest section liaison.
You can be a speaker or volunteer at a ConnOTA conference.
You can take action to support OT within the state of CT through participation in the government affairs council.
You can be a mentor or host a job shadow for a less experienced or future OT through our mentor and job shadow networks.
Who is on our current board?
The voting portion of our board consists of a President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary, Member for Government Affairs, and two coordinators for membership called 'members at large.' In addition, we have non- voting members, special interest section liaisons, and special task forces as well.
